Before your appointment

Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) for one week before treatment to minimize bruising.
Stay hydrated and eat a light meal before your appointment.

After your appointment

Avoid strenuous exercise, excessive facial movements, and sleeping on your side for the first 24-48 hours.
Refrain from facials, massages, or other treatments on the treated area for 2 weeks.
Follow up with sunscreen to protect your skin and support healing.

Lifting Threads

Lifting threads provide gentle support to sagging skin, creating a natural lift in areas like the jawline, cheeks, and neck. In addition to lifting, these threads also stimulate collagen production, offering long-lasting results that improve over time. Both Smuth and lifting threads are biocompatible and absorbable, meaning they work with your body to create natural-looking improvements while gradually dissolving over several months. Whether you’re looking to restore youthful contours or improve skin texture, our team will guide you to the right option during your consultation. Experience the rejuvenating power of PDO threads at Atkinson Aesthetics. Schedule your consultation today and discover how we can help you achieve your aesthetic goals.
